A Place with A Purpose
Despite its strategic location opposite The Midland Hotel in Manchester’s Central Business District, 24 Mount Street stood empty, forgotten about for years. It needed more than renovation, it needed repositioning. Working collaboratively with new owners FORE Partnerships and architects TP Bennett, we shaped the creative strategy for the building to define what the building stands for and give it a new purpose.
Building upon the developer's desire to create an energy conscious building, we steered the positioning to ensure the whole building narrative lived and breathed sustainability at every touchpoint. A story built from the inside-out.
By giving the building its own unique story, name, identity and interior language created a unified vision with a powerful message that would resonate with a community of young creative entrepreneurs.
With its living wall, rooftop aviary, cycle facilities and outstanding BREEAM rating, Windmill Green has earned its title of Manchester's most sustainable office development and is already attracting some of the city's most forward thinking businesses.
